Our Story

More than 30 years of friendship, creativity, and treasured memories.

Our story began more than 30 years ago, when we met while working with children with developmental disabilities. Laurie was a social worker, and Susan was a pediatric nurse practitioner. What began as a professional connection soon became an enduring friendship. Over the years, we have shared many of life's moments - both joyful and difficult. When Susan faced breast cancer, Laurie became her "chemo buddy," sitting beside her and helping her through some of the toughest days. That experience deepened a friendship already built on decades of caring, laughter, and simply being there for one another. Today, we find joy in spending time together and creating unique, handmade designs from a mix of vintage finds and new treasures. Each piece reflects the things we value most: friendship, creativity, meaningful memories, and the belief that something special can be given a beautiful new story.
